The group...lead by the kids...kind of split up. We hung out mostly with Allison & Austin, Lora & Liam, Auntie M & Gwen, and Gabriel & Kanai. Mama Elsa had a wonderful checklist full of Spring items to find. We didn't find any yellow butterflies, or ladybugs, but what we did find were a few wonderful muddy puddles.
The kids were a little hesitant at first, then they got the hang of it and frolicked in the muddy goodness of it all. One funny thing was the Mia had a PB cracker in her hand the whole time and made sure it didn't get dirty at ANY cost. It actually survived.
The kids had a blast splashing and exploring, and the mamas were truly entertained by it all. I think Liam was in heaven, as was Austin, till his hands got muddy...Oh, Nooooooo! :)
Then back with the rest of the group for lunch and more play on the playscape. I hadn't had a chance to chat with Allison or Lora in a while, so I made the most of it, and enjoyed their company immensely. Not that the other O'Mamas are chopped liver or anything, but these two mamas and their kids have very full weeks, and don't make it to many playdates. MANY more pics of the muddy fun HERE
