Happy Hoodie Hoo Day!

Wondering what is Hoodie Hoo Day?
When : Always on February 20
On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo".
It is a day to chase away winter and bring in spring. After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.

The O'Mamas and their kiddos met at the Central Market Park for some fun this morning. The kids played on the playscapes while the Mamas chatted and kept their eyes on the kids. Then we all got our stale bread together (thanks for the roll, Stephanie) and headed to the duck pond. At the first stop, the water was pretty dirty...cigarette butts, trash and the water was so oily. Poor ducks. We hit the trail again for the bridge. The kids scampered around while the mamas took their time and chatted :) When we got there, those ducks didn't want our bread. They were FULL! The kids threw the bread anyway. On the way back, Mia took a little break on a rock, and Cole gave her the biggest hug. It was so sweet.
Once we got back, many had lunch, but we were pretty beat, so we headed home. We were supposed to make a peanut butter bird feeder, but I was too tired to stay. It was so great hanging out with our friends Stephanie, Roarke & Cole, Sarah & Isabel, Courtney & Izzy (they were having an off day due to lack of sleep. Poor things), Allison & Sarah, Monica & Gabriella, Eva & Meela, Lachelle, Austin & Daniel (and hubby), Lexy & Evan...Ashley & Michael showed up at the end. Good Times!
