LOOK what I got!

As part of the AWESOME F-R-E-E with a Catch meme , I received this gorgeous felt art piece made for me by one of my best friends, Stephanie! Isn't it the most beautiful ever?!?! It really warmed my heart...I can't wait to frame and display it :)

I'll tell you, when I first read about the F-R-E-E with a Catch post on her blog, I thought 'Sign me UP!'....what? The catch? I have to pay it forward? I have no problem with paying things forward....but....I can't make anything!....Steph talked me down and explained that it could really be anything. It's really just a token...ohhhh, as long as peeps don't expect some lavish handmade Etsyesque gift :)

Stephanie made this for ME, and it feels just like Me...and where I am, what I'm focusing on...I love how much she knows and loves me....now, what will I make for HER?

when two blogs collide

Welcome to my new blog!!!! Isn't it FABULOUS?!?!?!

Let's start off with a little Q&A:

1. why the move?

I've been running two blogs: Mias Mama and iMother. Mias Mama was all about my life with the snapper (our first kiddo). iMother was all about my life beyond motherhood.

We're growing our family, and expect Miss Lily to join us in early May 2009. At that time, the title Mias Mama will have been outgrown...obsolete, and I seriously think I'll have a hard enough time keeping up with two kids much less two blogs. This is my attempt to be proactive...to simplify.

2. what can i expect?

We did not change as we grew older; we just became more clearly ourselves - Lynn Hall

Since I'll be combining both of my worlds, this blog will be jam packed with my thoughts and happenings in my complete life....being a woman, wife, mama, friend, photographer, drummer and anything else my heart desires. It will be more comprehensive, the complete me.

need a new name ~ Help!

Sooooo in a few months, I'm not going to be just Mia's Mama...but Mia and Lily's mama. I need a new blog name. I'm stumped. I need help. I need your help.

You know me...I'd like to find something that includes me being a mama, our family, my interests...photography...drumming :) Wow! what a tall order.

Anyway...if you have ANY ideas, please add them to the comments. I wish I had a prize to giveaway or something.....how about, if I use you're name, you'll get a $20 Amazon gift card...yes, I'm desperate!
