Parivaar

Parivaar means family in Hindi. This is my Indian family...just missing one sweet sister, Priya, who's in Bombay. They have welcomed me with open loving arms. I honestly can't say enough, so I will say no more....except that I already miss Nana and Nani so very much.

a few weeks ago, i had the pleasure of photographing one of my bffs and her lovely family. it started off rocky, but after the mention of stinky cheese...well, that got the giggles and the ball rolling. here are some of my faves.

Nishan at 9 months

Yes, it's been 3 months since my last Nishan installment :) I've truly loved watching this lil boy grow from a new to the world infant, to a rolling over baby, pulling up & cruisin' and now crawling! The next time I'll see him, he'll be ONE YEAR OLD!!! This was a hilarious shoot. Not only has Nishan grown physically, but man does he let his feelings be known. He did NOT want to wear the poncho a relative sent him from Peru, and you can tell :)
