A Little Perspective Day!

Mia's been interested in both my cameras for a while, but knows they are fragile and must be handled with care...ONLY when mama helps. Well, I gave her complete control with my p&s the other day. While she did get MANY shots of her fingers, she did capture a nice shot of 1/4 of my face and some nice sky. When I flipped it to review and showed the shot to her, she got soooo excited and squealed, 'mama! i did that!!' with a HUGE smile on her face. Yes, baby. You did do that.

I'll be trying to add some more shots from Mia's perspective on Fridays.

For more shots by little ones, hop over to Tracey's or the flikr pool.

Best Shot Monday - Perspective

Lately, Mia's been into getting different perspectives on things. Her three most fave things in the whole wide world to play with are binoculars, magnifying glasses, and her new clear kaleidoscope (thanks for the link Mel). She's FASCINATED with them, and can't go anywhere without one of those three items. I don't let her take them into a playdate...ohhhh the commotion that would cause, but when she happens to find one AT a playdate...she's done. No other toy or child is required for her happiness. When she hits three, she's totally getting her own camera. I can't wait to see the world through her eyes.

Here she is taking a break from the telescopic binocular world to check back in with reality.
